How it works
What is the Referral Bonus? The Referral Bonus allows existing and new Marcus customers to earn an Annual Percentage Yield (APY) that is 0.20% higher than the stated APY available at www.marcus.com on all of their Marcus Online Savings Account(s) for a period of three months following an existing customer’s successful referral or a new customer opening an Online Savings Account using a unique referral link, as further described below. How do I earn a Referral Bonus? For existing customers, you must successfully refer a new customer using your unique referral link during any offer period. For new customers, you must use an existing customer’s unique referral link to open a new Online Savings Account during any offer period. The current offer period is January 1st, 2021 – March 31st, 2021.. Who is an Existing Customer? Who is a New Customer? An existing customer is any individual who currently has an active Marcus Online Savings Account or Certificate of Deposit (CD). A new customer is any individual who has not had a Marcus Online Savings Account or CD in the last 12 months.
Where to find your code
When you have a Marcus account, you can go to the dashboard and click on "My Account" to get a drop-down menu. One of the options will be "Marcus Referred" and when you click on that link it takes you to a page with details on your referral link.

5.6% interest is feasible at the moment with AARP 0.1% bonus ($16 annual subscription, no need to pay for next year, the bonus be active for 24 months). Pretty good for high account balances.
