How invitation.codes compares
We get compared to coupon sites, affiliate networks, link-in-bio tools, and referral software. Each is great at what it does. Here's an honest look at where we overlap—and where we're different.
Our edge isn't any single feature. It's the combination: the largest directory of referral programs (6,000+) and a network of 700,000+ members who share codes.

"Partial" means a category sometimes offers this in a limited way or for some users. "Planned" means we have not launched it yet. Ratings reflect each category's typical, intended use—not a knock on any specific product. Brand names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for comparison only.
Where each category fits
We're not trying to replace these tools—several of them solve real problems well.
Coupon & cashback sites
RetailMeNot, Honey, Rakuten
These help you save at checkout—and they're great at it. They're built around discounts and one-sided cashback, not around discovering and sharing the referral codes you already have. invitation.codes is two-sided: you can save with others' codes and earn from your own.
Affiliate networks
ShareASale, Impact
Affiliate networks are powerful infrastructure for professional marketers, with applications, approvals, and minimums. We're open to everyone with no approval process. Integrating with networks like these, rather than competing with them, is planned but not live yet.
Link-in-bio tools
Linktree
Link-in-bio pages list any link you want—flexible, but generic. We're purpose-built for referrals: a program directory, discovery, ratings, click tracking, and a community designed for exactly this use case.
Referral SaaS
Rewardful, Dub
Referral SaaS gives a single company the tools to run its own program. We don't offer that self-serve today. What we have is the public directory of referral programs and the network of members who share them; businesses can request a pilot to test a campaign with us.
The directory + network is the moat
A coupon, a link page, or a referral tool on its own can't put your codes in front of people who are actively searching for them. invitation.codes can, because the directory and the community already exist—6,000+ programs and 700,000+ members in one place.
See it for yourself
Browse the directory, or add the codes you already share. Free forever for sharing your codes.
