How it works
For the first invited friend that registers and completes a stage, you will get 256. Then 128 for the second friend, 64 for the third friend and so on, and 1 for the ninth and onwards. How can I spend gems? 15 : Download the failed test for a coding problem. 100 : View the solutions from other students for a project stage without solving it. This is available only in a limited number of projects, and never for the last stage. How can I earn gems? 5–10 : Solve the problem of the day. 15 : Complete a stage of your project. 25 : Complete a project. 50 : Complete a track. 100 : Solve a problem via the IDE for the first time. How can we exchange gems? 1 : Place a bounty on your comment, and the best answer will receive it. 1 : Award a gem to any comment you like using the "gem" emoji.

Hyperskill is a third party platform for JetBrains Academy's learning experience. While most of the learning will be happening online on hyperskill.org, some parts of the service are accessible only via JetBrains IDEs. The Java and Kotlin projects currently featured in Hyperskill are bundled with IntelliJ IDEA Edu.
