Honest Timebucks review (an underrated GPT site?)

What is Timebucks?

Timebucks is a free get-paid-to site where you can earn by clicking on paid-to-click (PTC) ads, playing games, completing paid surveys, and completing various micro-tasks. It offers a lot of withdrawal options such as LiteCoin, Payeer, Skrill, bank transfer and more. You can also get paid in Bitcoin but it requires an extra step. More on that later in this article. Let's look into each earning option that timebucks provides in detail.

Paid surveys: 

Timebucks offers a lot of paid surveys. And you might get disqualified most of the time. Getting disqualified from surveys at least ten times before earning anything is normal across every get-paid-to site. And it might be worth it if you are a little patient. How many surveys you get and how many completed surveys you get paid for, depends on your country and your survey profile which you build up as you answer questions from surveys.

Daily poll:

The timebucks daily poll can be found in the surveys section. But it's quite different from other survey options. It asks a single non-personal question that is entertaining at times like “which is more scary? Heights, flying, small spaces, work or needles?”. The daily poll is available once a day and pays $0.007.

Offerwalls: 

Like the offerwalls in any other get-paid-to to site, you can earn by playing games and completing offers from the offerwalls.

Push clicks:

Push clicks are easy but how much you get paid for each push click varies. At minimum, You will get 0.5% of yesterday's earnings. Even if you didn't earn anything yesterday you would still get at least $0.002. There is more to this option that it deserves an article of it's own. Engage hits: 

I haven't used this option much, but apparently, you have to install an app and you get paid for watching and liking videos. And in the Engage hits website, it says that you shouldn't unlike a video or unsubscribe after getting paid for doing those tasks. Or you will risk getting your account banned from Engage hits. I occasionally unsubscribe the channels that I don't watch on youtube so I haven't used this option much.

Clicks (PTC ads): 

There is also a section dedicated for paid-to-click ads called “clicks” where you get paid for viewing 5 to 30 sec ads. In timebucks, you get PTC ads quite frequently and each one pays around $0.001 or $0.002.

Tasks: 

There is also a tasks section where you can find various easy micro-tasks which take around 2 to 10 mins to complete. You have to read the instructions carefully and follow the steps to get paid using this option. Usually you would need to complete a task and take a screenshot or copy & paste a paragraph as proof. 

Leaderboard rewards:

Another way to earn more is by ranking in the leaderboards. But it's a bit difficult to rank in the leaderboards compared to other earning options provided on the website. If you earn enough, ranking in the daily leaderboards would be another way to get some nice extra bonuses.

Referral program:

Timebucks does have a pretty good referral program. You get $1 for signing up using a referral link. To receive your sign-up bonus you have to verify your ID on timebucks within 30 days of signing up. And the referrer gets 10% of the referral’s earnings as a lifetime bonus. It won't affect the referral’s earnings, it's a bonus that timebucks gives you for inviting a new user. It means that every time your friend earns $10 dollars, you get 1 dollar.

How to get paid in Bitcoin:

Timebucks used to pay directly in Bitcoin. But they changed it for some reason. You can still get paid in Bitcoin though. You have to go to the payments section, choose the “Payeer” option. Payeer is an e-wallet which also exchanges fiat and cryptocurrencies. If you don't have a payeer account, sign up and use it to get paid in Bitcoin.

Withdrawal threshold and bonuses:

The withdrawal threshold for timebucks is $10. It used to be $5 but they changed it for some reason. But don't worry it won't take too long to reach $10 with the weekly bonus checklist. This checklist can be found in the dashboard and it will give you bonuses just for using timebucks to earn. The more you earn within a week, the more bonuses you will get.

Final thoughts: 

Though it's not a way to make a living, you can earn a few extra dollars whenever you have a few minutes to spare. Timebucks offers a lot of earning options and it's one of the high paying ones among hundreds of other GPT sites. Although, I wish they would bring back the option to withdraw bitcoin directly from the site.
