Honest Ember fund review (free Bitcoin mining!)

What is Ember fund?

Ember fund is an app where you can earn free Bitcoin passively. It automatically mines Bitcoin starting from satoshis, the smallest unit of a Bitcoin. Ember also offers other ways to earn such as tournaments, predictions and playing games.

The mining option:

When you start mining, it automatically mines for 24 hours. All you have to do is open the app after the mining period ends and start mining again.

It usually mines at the rate of 1 satoshi per hour. But if you sign up using a referral link, you can mine upto 6 satoshis per hour. Though the exact number varies from country to country. I joined through a referral link and now mine at 4 satoshis per hour (and it was reduced with the recent update). There is a way to increase the mining rate by inviting friends to the Ember fund app. You can earn 3 satoshis per friend per hour. I think the mining option is great. It's the best option in Ember to get free Bitcoin without losing what you've earned or spending much time.

The spinner:

Ember also has a spin-to-win option where you can get free satoshis or get nothing. Though there are fees to spin. You don't have to pay real money, you just have to pay with the satoshis you mined in the app. Though it occasionally gives you free spins every time they make an update. I don't recommend the spinner much. Because usually, these options are made to take more from us than give more. Ember recently launched an update claiming that they doubled the winning rate of the spinner. 

Tournaments:

There are also lots of tournaments happening every day. You can either enter the free tournaments or the tournaments that require a fee. All options that require a fee are paid with satoshis and i like that the app allows us to pay with our satoshis instead of asking for real money. What you do in the tournament is you choose three or more cryptocurrencies that you think the value will go up and submit. If the value does increase as you predicted, you can rank higher in a tournament and get your prize. Though i think that the tournaments pay low. But it's fine cause the tournaments happen every day.

The other ways you can earn is by downloading and playing games from their catalog. It usually gives 1 satoshi per minute of playing the game. But i don't use this option much cause, the games have too many ads that play after every level you finish. If you're okay with a lot of ads, then i think is a great option to boost your earnings.

You can also earn by taking surveys, and making predictions and there is also an option to invest in the app. 

User experience: 

For a few days after installing the app, it lagged a lot and each option took a long time to load. I couldn't even set up the pin number. I checked the app reviews and it turns out everyone had this issue. But after a few days of using it, i think it got better and now it doesn't take forever to load.

Final thoughts:

What appeals to me the most is the mining option. I value my time and the mining option doesn't require more than 2 mins every day to mine Bitcoin. So i think it's great. The spinner is also good as you can get free spins occasionally. The tournaments are fun and provide the experience of trading crypto without actually investing in anything. All other options are good too. Though i hope they will update the app and make it perform smoother and faster. Overall, Ember is a great app i would recommend.
