have you ever been scammed? (i almost got scammed)

recently, I received a message from a person claiming that he is Shane Missler, the $451 million Florida lottery winner. the message also said that he was giving away $30,000 to the first 25 people he could contact. I knew it was fake and I searched on Google to see if other people had been receiving the same messages. and as expected, it is a scam and similar messages and posts have been popping up on other social media platforms too.
